TEHRAN – Mohammad Shariatmadari will be introduced to the parliament as the new labor minister in two days, MP Hassan Sadeqi has said.

“According to reliable information, the president of our country will name Mohammad Shariatmadari as the new labor minister in two days,” Mehr on Saturday quoted Sadeqi as saying.

Back in August, Labor Minister Ali Rabiei was ousted by the parliament following an impeachment over his management of the ministry and unemployment rate.

129 of the lawmakers voted in favor of Rabiei’s dismissal, 111 against, and 3 abstained.
